This site has no user accounts, no analytics trackers, no advertising pixels, and sets no cookies of its own. We never see your card number.
Tapping "Plantings near me" asks your browser for a location so the globe can fly to the nearest pin. That request happens only on that tap. The coordinates stay in your browser; this site does not send or store them.
Donations are processed by Stripe. When you donate, Stripe handles your payment details and email address under its own privacy policy. Stripe may use cookies on its checkout page and payment buttons. We receive only the donation amount, the site you chose to fund, and - so we can send your receipt and impact updates - the email address you provide during payment.
Donation totals shown on the site are anonymized aggregates (tree counts, site names and timing) - never names, emails or exact amounts per person.
The globe loads satellite imagery from EOX (Sentinel-2) and Esri. Like any web request, those providers receive your IP address when tiles load.
The site is hosted on Netlify, which processes standard server logs (IP addresses) to serve the site.
